Parno Mitra can be considered as a new face in Bengali films although shehas acted in many Bengali TV serials and Bengali films. After her love scene in‘Mohana’ -a Bengali tele seria, Parno Mitra was in hot news. Now Parno has gota chance to portrayed the character Ranjana in Anjan Dutta’s latest film‘Ranjana Ami Aar Ashbo Na’. The film will be released on 24 June, 2011. ParnoMitra is in the leading female role in this film.Parno Mitra is working inanother Bengali film ‘Bedroom’ directed by Mainak Bhaumik.Debut Bengali film ofParno Mitra is ‘Bangla Bachao’. Prosenjit and Pauli Dam were in the leadingroles of thi film. During shotting of this film Parno fell seriously ill due to ac-cute appendicitis.
